Video games have truly advanced over the years. Games that were hailed as sensational in yesteryears would simply look pathetic today. Imagine for a moment and lined them up against the likes of the Nintendo Wii games, you will see just how starkly they pale in comparison. With a Wii, every home is potentially an entertainment center. The best thing is that it doesn’t have to cost a bomb if you’re savvy about it.

Video games don’t have a reputation for helping with fitness, their reputation is actually the opposite, but Wii Fit is different. It won’t replace your regular workout but it will help keep you moving, and that’s something we all need to do more.

Even though sales of all game systems are slowing in a down economy, the Nintendo Wii continues to be a strong seller. The shortages from the past years are gone, but there are Wii deals everywhere, and thebest deals are on Wii bundles. Why not get all the games and accessories you want, all in one package?

Most people consider gym to be the ultimate thing when it comes to achieving fitness. That is not entirely true. Even if you cannot go to the gym you can still get some exercise in the home. The challenge is to come up with innovative ideas to work smarter and look fitter.

There was a time when video games weren’t video games as they are known today. Video game old timers would remember the custom displays, monitors and even oscilloscopes and the kind of excitement the simple Brick Game or two-dimensional Pong were able to generate back then. Honestly, they are so lame by today’s standards. Compare them against the interactive and motion-sensing Nintendo Wii games and they get blown away instantly.
